What information we collect and why

Contact form enquiries

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to public enquiries about our services.

Memorial and bereavement services

If you make a request relating to memorial services, books of remembrance, or similar bereavement services, we will collect personal details necessary to fulfil that request. This may include details about the deceased and the person making the request. The lawful basis is the performance of a contract or, where applicable, our legitimate interest in providing bereavement services.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry and contact data is retained for as long as necessary to respond to and close the enquiry, and no longer than 2 years unless a longer retention period is required by law. Memorial and book of remembrance records may be retained for a longer period in line with the nature of the service provided.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing or to request that we restrict it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or write to the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
